Why Recycling?

Valuable Elements Should Be Recycled With Their Own Kind

What makes tool steel, HSS and carbide valuable are the alloying elements they contain: tungsten, molybdenum, vanadium, cobalt and chromium. These elements are scarce and are extracted from mines with great effort. If the scrap is not recycled with its own kind, it is mixed into ordinary iron and loses its value.

Scarce Elements
Tungsten, cobalt and vanadium are on the European Union's list of critical raw materials. They occur in low concentrations in ore and are obtained through long, energy-intensive processes.

Sorting at Source
Carbide, HSS, cold work and hot work tool steel scrap is collected separately where it is generated, verified by analysis and recovered into the same alloy group.

Mixed Means Lost Value
Alloyed scrap mixed into iron scrap goes to reinforcing-bar furnaces; the alloying elements oxidise into slag or are diluted, and the scrap is sold at the price of iron.

How can I sell my scrap to you?

To sell your scrap, simply contact us by phone or WhatsApp. Once our team has received information on the type and estimated weight of your scrap, we will make you our best price offer and send a vehicle to your address.

When and how do you pay?

Our payments are made upfront and in cash. As soon as your scrap has been loaded onto our vehicle and weighed, we pay you in cash by hand or, if you prefer, instantly by bank transfer (EFT/FAST).

Do you collect scrap from my address?

Yes. We come to your address with our own vehicles and staff and collect your scrap on site. Loading and transport are handled entirely by our company.

What types of scrap do you buy?

We buy all metals of value, chiefly copper, aluminium, yellow metal (brass), cable, stainless steel (chrome), iron, zinc and lead, as well as electronic circuit board scrap.

How do you determine scrap prices?

Scrap prices change daily, indexed to the London Metal Exchange (LME) and exchange rates. Our company makes offers to its customers based on the most up-to-date and most competitive prices in the market.
